ECO2 MMS™ RAPID is an innovative moisture management system designed to rapidly seal concrete substrates ensuring optimal conditions for the installation and longevity of finish flooring systems. Its rapid-setting properties and environmental benefits make it a preferred choice for construction projects focused on efficiency and sustainability. ECO2 MMS™ RAPID protects finish flooring systems by blocking moisture, allowing application on concrete with up to 100% relative humidity (RH), meeting ASTM F-2170 standards; reduces moisture vapor emission rates from concrete substrates, allowing up to 25 lbs per 1,000 sq. ft., meeting ASTM F-1869 standards; and maintains concrete pH levels up to 14, as required by ASTM F-710, ensuring compatibility with various flooring materials. ECO2 MMS™ RAPID can also serve as a bonding agent for self-leveling toppings and underlayments, supporting applications up to 2 inches thick when used with sand broadcast*.
